The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast and a pool/spa area that was included in the room rate. The location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to nearby hiking trails and sightseeing attractions. the hotel provided free bikes for guests to use, which was a fun and convenient way to explore the area.

This made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. the closing time of the spa/pool area at 7:00 pm was too early, as it limited the amount of time guests could enjoy the facilities.

The staff here is very friendly, and the lake view from the property is stunning. It's in a great location.

Very friendly staff, excellent location and fantastic views from the Terrasse, very nice and clean. If the room is in the corner with the sea view - this is the best price-value for money! Very quiet and just perfect place to relax..

The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop with easy access to the train station. the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and up to date. the breakfast buffet is very generous, with a wide variety of breads, cheese, and fruit. the views from the terrace are breathtaking.

The hotel lacks the cozy atmosphere and homey feel of some vacation spots. the decor and ambiance are a bit neutral and impersonal.

Wonderful view of lake from dining hall and terrace. Nice garden and pool. While not a luxury 5 star the hotel is tastefully designed with nice garden and pool. Good functioning spa facility and a variety of massage and beauty care options. Great pool and spa with a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. The staff is absolutely attentive and genuinely courteous without being superficial.

only stayed one night

This hotel has a lot of class and can be easily categorised as a 4.5* hotel. It is located in a beautiful and quite area, with trees, and a fantastic view on the lake. We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed the service, the spa, as well as the very good breakfast buffet. You can also rent a bicycle for free, which is very useful to go to Locarno (5- 10min) and Ascona (15-20min). Definitely a very good choice.

The location of this hotel was convenient, as the bus stop was nearby and took you straight to the station. it was far away from both the city center and the lake, so there was not much to see or do in the immediate area. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, but very basic, with no special amenities. the service was average, with staff being polite but not overly friendly or helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of items, but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately, there were no views to speak of, as the hotel was not located in a picturesque area.

The facilities at this hotel were disappointing, with outdated gym equipment that was not functional.

The very friendly, multilingual and helpfull stuff. The facilities, cleanless and comfort. And whats also was a huge benefit for me is the breakfast time till 11am! For travellera they did not arrive with a car they even have the possibility to rent the hotel owned smart. All in all a extraordinary value for a unbeatable price!

Nada...Nothing to complain so far. ok, the only thing I could "complain" is that the hotel owner car, a smart, is unfortunately not a convertible one. Would be nice in the summertime to cruise around the Lago Maggiore with a open roof.

The room was spacious, and the lake view gorgeous. The spa was great. The staff was friendly and professional. Loved the breakfast buffet.

The wood flooring, spartan decoration and the non-platform bed made the room feel a little cold (the bad weather did not help, I guess). We probably should have gone for the (very expensive) dinner at the hotel, seeing the poor quality/price ratio for meals at restaurants in locarno. Haven't seen such bland food at such high prices in ages.

The hotel is located on a small hill in a residential area just outside the city, making it a convenient stop-over to explore the region. The breakfast served on the terrace was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms were large and comfortable, with some offering lovely views of the lake.

Wireless lan only @ exorbitant prices (even 3 star hotels give you free access, only one Internet pc, apparent constant shortage of staff (spa reception was never manned, had to call for breakfast service on 2 days because nobody was showing, they wouldn't want to exchange regular coke by Diet Coke in the minibar on grounds that the minibar was free (I do not see any logic herein)

The service at this hotel was top-notch. The staff was friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room amenities were impressive, with features such as air conditioning and an in-room safe. The hotel also had a fantastic dining restaurant and a cozy bar/lounge area where you could relax and unwind.
